FASCIAL MOVEMENT TAPING

About...

It's based on the obvious yet largely overlooked concept of muscles acting as a chain. FMT's revolutionary technique utilizes the "longitudinal anatomy", or "movement patterns" concept, the body's integration of movement via multi-muscle contractions as a means of connecting the brain to the body's uninterrupted fascial web in order to enhance rehab and athletic performance via cutaneous (skin) stimulation.

It can be used for many different body parts and to provide support for a number of conditions.

A few common examples are:

Golfer's elbow - Postural support during Pregnancy - To control swelling post injury/sprain - Achilles Tendonitis

Rocktape not only works wonders for injuries but also assists in coordination and movement. When athletes fatigue, they lose form. When form deteriorates, athletes slow down. When we tape an athlete using our PowerTaping protocol, we help them extract every once of energy from their body and use it as efficiently as possible. Why? Because triathlon isn’t about being fast. It’s about slowing down slower than your competitor.

Low back pain, upper back tension and headaches are all common occurrences with the progression of pregnancy. For the pregnant mother postural and supportive taping with Rock Tape allows for reduction of stress on the back and improved posture; helping to reduce these common symptoms often felt during pregnancy.

It is latex free and the adhesive is 100% acrylic and heat activated. Learn more about the research surrounding Rocktape here...
